When I was in high school, my mom was one of those mothers that got asked if she was a sister if she ever came to the school for anything. She looks young because her skin looks young. She has a few DIY tips that she has shared with me. This is one of them.
Every month or so, she will do an aspirin scrub. I have seen people making masks with honey, but this is a little different. All you do is:
- Crush up 2-4 tablets from a Bottled Aspirin 1000/bottle and mix it with some warm water to make a scrub.
- Apply it to the face using small circular movements concentrating on rough areas including acne. I don’t recommend getting it on the eyelids.
- Continue this for 2-5 minutes. (This mimics in home microdermabrasion and a mild chemical peel because aspirin is derived from the same source as salicylic acid.)
- Rinse well with cold water
This will leave your skin so shiny and smooth and even a little tighter too! I LOVE THIS SCRUB!!!
